| Lighting Simulation Demonstrates Greenshine’s Superior Coverage and Intensity for Pickleball CourtsPosted by Stephen Shickadance in Inspiring Projects. Applications of Solar Lighting. As pickleball continues to grow in popularity, the need for well-lit courts becomes essential to ensure players can enjoy their game at any time of the day or night. At Greenshine New Energy, we recently conducted a lighting simulation for pickleball courts at McClure Park in Oklahoma, showcasing the performance of our advanced lighting systems. The simulation results highlight the intensity and coverage our lights can provide, ensuring optimal visibility and an enhanced playing experience. Lighting Simulation -McClure Park Project OverviewFor this project, we simulated the installation of three dual 60W fixtures specifically for the pickleball courts. Although lighting was also provided to other areas like basketball courts and parking lots, the green area below is the actual location of the Pickleball courts. These lights are mounted at a height of 20 feet and designed with Type 3 optics, providing a color temperature of 4000K to balance brightness and clarity while minimizing glare.
