Lighting Simulation Demonstrates Greenshine’s Superior Coverage and Intensity for Pickleball Courts

For this project, we simulated the installation of three dual 60W fixtures specifically for the pickleball courts. Although lighting was also provided to other areas like basketball courts and parking lots, the green area below is the actual location of the Pickleball courts. These lights are mounted at a height of 20 feet and designed with Type 3 optics, providing a color temperature of 4000K to balance brightness and clarity while minimizing glare.

• Uniform Coverage: The simulation demonstrates that the lights provide even coverage across the pickleball courts, ensuring there are no dark spots or unevenly lit areas. This uniformity is crucial for player safety and comfort, especially in fast-paced games like pickleball where every second counts.

• High Luminous Efficacy: With a luminous efficacy of 126.4 lumens per watt, these lights are not only powerful but also energy-efficient. This ensures that the courts are well-lit while keeping operational costs low.

The perpendicular illuminance results show that the average light level across the courts is 1.10 foot-candles, with peak areas reaching up to 5.57 foot-candles.
