JK Lighting Systems is a California company, engaged in the development and marketing of energy saving lighting fixtures. For over twenty years, the principals of JK Lighting Systems have expended extensive time, effort and funds toward the development and refinement of these fixtures including, but not limited to, patent applications, UL listings, custom manufacturing and assembly refinements.   Additionally, JK Lighting has established nationwide representative and distributor networks for the purpose of marketing the products.   Due to the enormous demand to reduce energy consumption within U.S. and most recently in the lighting arena, JK Lighting Systems has identified specific areas to target with retrofit fixtures as well as new installation fixtures.   The following is an example of the potential savings for our Super Lite High Bay Series Luminaire Fixture. A 400 watt HID fixture with ballast draws approximately 450 watts, which when replaced by Super Lite Series fixture with electronic ballast, significantly reduces watt usage.   Listed below are features of the Super Lite High Bay Series Fixture that allow additional savings and conveniences which can be a considerable savings over standard HID fixtures:   No re-strike. Instant-on / Instant-off saves power without diminishing bulb longevity. HID fixtures are typically left on until the facility is vacated; which in some cases is 24 hours per day. A single burned lamp does not necessitate immediate replacement. A comfortable even light, a larger light spread, minimal shadowing and no stroboscopic effect. Excellent lumen maintenance. 90% efficiency over the life of the bulb. 20,000 hours lamp life. Even illumination on horizontal and vertical work planes. Total lighting control with a variety of sensor devices. Natural white light, 4100k color rendition. (3500K also available.) Perfect for virtually any installation. Mounting as low as 12'. Cooler operation results in lower air conditioning costs and fewer ballast replacement. No ballast noise. Individual tube control permits selective output which can render even more savings.
